Shabby Chic Cards with Simon Says Stamp November 2012 Card Kit

Here are some shabby chic cards I made with paper from the Simon Says Stamp November 2012 Card Kit.

Supplies include:

• Basic Grey Serenade paper
• Jillibean Soup card sentiment "soup labels" on a couple of the cards ("thinking of you" and "hello friend")
• "happy birthday" is a rub-on from the American Crafts Mini-Marks rub-on set

Cheers!
Sonja

Floral Owl Cards with September 2012 Simon Says Stamp Kit

I tend to make very simple cards but I decided to do something a bit busier with more patterns and layers mixed together.

Monochromatic Floral All-Occasion Cards

Cards with September 2012 Simon Says Stamp

Here are a couple cards I made today with the papers from the September 2012 Simon Says Stamp monthly kit that I got in the mail Friday. I wasn't at all keen on the stamps – very schooly with lots of stars – so I instead used some embellishments from my stash. I was initially lukewarm on the papers but I like the end result of the cards and the sort of soft, folky feel of the combination of patterns in the paper. It's starting to feel like fall here in St. Louis and I like the fall feel of the cards.

XO, Sonja
