Cards with Making Memories embellishments

Today I also made some cards after finding an old pack of Making Memories gel sticker embellishments while going through my supplies. At first I was going to put them in the giveaway pile but decided they might make some fun cards. I combined them with some blue and green papers from a Self-Addressed monthly kit. Sigh. I REALLY miss that club!! Here's what I started with and what I made...

Cards with September 2012 Simon Says Stamp

Here are a couple cards I made today with the papers from the September 2012 Simon Says Stamp monthly kit that I got in the mail Friday. I wasn't at all keen on the stamps – very schooly with lots of stars – so I instead used some embellishments from my stash. I was initially lukewarm on the papers but I like the end result of the cards and the sort of soft, folky feel of the combination of patterns in the paper. It's starting to feel like fall here in St. Louis and I like the fall feel of the cards.
